Drug companies will lose millions if not billions if stem cells are used as cures. Most people don’t know this. These companies pay politicians huge bux to prevent such things from happening.

They didn’t just magically get the stem cells, they had to take it from a bone marrow donation from someone with a rare mutation.
No one would hide a cure for HIV/AIDS, it is the kind of thing you get a Noble prize and billions of dollars for.

Man, that’s not incredible, but we need a cure feasible for the masses, they say hiv+ people can live a normal life, but that’s not right. Hope the scientists find something very soon, but it’s prooved, hiv can be cured, the humanity needs to win this battle against this plague. Rush up scientists.

I believe that it is too soon for these people to make it seem as if there is an actual cure in HIV/AIDS just because this “Berlin Patient” was lucky enough to be cured of it AND leukemia without being killed. This is a rare case. People shouldn’t be quick to place all their faith into this because it can go haywire. Also, there can be a lot of shadyness from the government about this sort of discovery.

Scientists do not consider this a cure and the media is incorrect for portraying it as such. It is a breakthrough in gene therapy. It is not a cure because it is not practical to use this on every person suffering from HIV. People that have the CCR5delta32 homozygous deletion are very rare. Can you question all of them to donate their bone marrow? Also, no one can guarantee that the transplant will be accepted 100% by the patient. This is a ray of hope not a cure.
Now that we know that stem cell is vital, we as people should push the gov on spending more funds inorder too do more research.Trust me, the ball has been dropped so many times. I believe we can cure all deseases with gene research .No more crap about this will lead too a cure in the year 3000! Too many have died already and that includes helpless babies all over the planet.I know it will take time too modify the administer, but the proof is here and it can be done.

The Dick Cheney crowd wont allow it. Once there is a cure, a fight in these fucking drug companies will happen. And a “patent” must be made. It’s getting to the point where if you want a cure and you want to live fuck the USA!
It is a cure, despite the risks.. the guy doesn’t have and wont get HIV again…that to me says cure. Odd how silent the media has been over this..
Just seen it on CNN apparently they can’t do it for everyone since it is perilous and could upshot in death……haha since they won’t die of aids anyways.
It looks like the elite are in panic mode and want to make sure these cures stay suppressed,you can look forward to the mass media telltale the sheep that it isn’t a cure and it could lead to cure many years down the road.

I told mom (kinda switching it up) that she’s going to be fine because she’s sick with diabetes and she witnessed her mom passing from it (around 1986). Mom constantly compares herself with her. Our technology has advances from 1986 to now.
My point is that my mom is not going to die anytime soon because of our technology. If doctors found the cure for aids, then who knows what else can be cured.
So, people are gonna be doing each other in the streets?
